Who we are

Creator Decoder is operated by Meimark Ltd (“we”), the data controller for the personal data described here. For anything in this policy — questions, access, export or deletion — write to privacy@example.invalid.

What we collect

• Account data — when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile picture and a stable account identifier. We never see your Google password.
• What you tell us — your own Instagram handle and your answers to the short questions at the gate (where you get stuck, who edits, what you promote).
• What we generate — the reports and comparisons you request, and a history of them attached to your account, including a monthly count of decodes for the free allowance.
• Technical — we use browser storage strictly to keep you signed in and to operate the product. No advertising or analytics cookies.

Public Instagram content

Reports are derived from publicly visible posts of the Instagram accounts you name — nothing behind a login, ever. Numbers shown are measured from that public data, never estimated. Video is processed transiently to produce transcripts and analysis and is not retained; the derived analysis (transcripts, measured statistics, written findings) is stored so reports stay available. We are not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.

How we use your data

• To run decodes and build your reports and comparisons (performing our contract with you).
• To personalize the comparison to the answers you gave at the gate.
• To enforce the free monthly allowance and prevent abuse (our legitimate interest).
• To send occasional email about your report — you can unsubscribe at any time.

Sharing

We may share your details with third-party providers of video creation software. We also use service providers to operate the product — cloud infrastructure, network services and AI model providers that process content to generate the written analysis — each bound to process data only on our behalf. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Account data and your report history are kept while your account exists. Source video is never stored. If the service shuts down, personal data is deleted as part of the shutdown.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion of your account and everything attached to it by writing to privacy@example.invalid. Deletion requests are honored including at our downstream providers. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date above and record the version you agreed to when you next run a decode.
